This week was very exhausting for me because of the paperworks that i did plus the chores at home and attending some activities at my son's school. A good result will be a good pay off for my effort for sure, but we dont know yet until maybe after 2-3 weeks,hopefully.I'll keep my fingers crossed....

Been busy nowadays, watching the news and following the ZTE Scandal, of course blogging. also, i've been thinking about whether i will enroll my son this school year and what school is best for him. He'll be graduating from elementary this March. ok,i've already decided that i will enroll him in june since i dont know the exact month yet when we will be leaving but i guess it'll be during the last quarter of the year(me and my honey's hoping it'll be earlier). I dont want him to be idle during those months while we're waiting so i came up with the decision to just enroll him then if ever we'll be leaving, i'll just pull him and get all his papers at once. But finding the best school for him is not that easy, i am after the quality of education. some of my friends told me to just enroll him in a public school,but knowing the quality of teaching nowadays especially in a public school,i dont think i can trust them now.

I have nothing against it,in fact, i've been a product of a public school from primary to secondary, it was just very different then. nowadays, if you want your kids to get the quality of education,find the right and the best school. he's now studying in a catholic school but i dont think they have the quality that other catholic schools are giving. Before,his current school possessed the quality,i knew it coz i was a part of their faculty...lol,but without bragging about myself, i can attest to it because i can compare with the teachers then and now and their approach with regards to teaching and i am the one who's helping my son with his homeworks that's why i know the difference.

i also remember, in public schools, most often than not, a never ending tickets like red cross, girl scouts etc etc,are being sold to the students, private schools here are the same too, i guess the only difference is that, private school's tickets are priced higher than in public....lol.

Well, i guess i may have to consider a school in Quezon City, but im still having a second thought since we're living here in Manila,also the fact that it's an all boys school, my son's objecting from it because he like girls a lot....lol.

Manila Regional Trial Court(RTC) Shooting

While I was thinking if I'll go to Manila Local Civil Registry today to make a follow up regarding my change of name on my birth certificate,a news was being flashed on my television screen,earlier this morning,there was a shooting incident right there at Manila RTC,former Misamis Occidental Mayor Reynaldo Yap has been killed and 2 others were wounded!Because of this,City Hall authorities ordered all employees and all those inside to leave the City Hall premises.City Mayor Alfredo Lim admitted that they need to buy metal detectors,the reason why anybody can bring deadly weapon including a gun and killed somebody without a sweat.But i wonder if this will work knowing how they inspect things,all they need is to be vigilant and strict policies.

It was just one among many courtroom shootings that happened in the country. It's about time they have to tighten the security there where most criminal cases are being heard of.I for one noticed a lack of men in uniforms inside the court while my annulment case was still being heard at Manila RTC ,in fact,not even one was present :-(.It just showed how lax our government officials are,not forseeing these kind of incident,I just hope this will be the last one that a person got killed due to lack of securities and hope this will serve as a wake up call.

I texted a friend who works there if they were ok,i was told they were good but they were asked to go home.And because of what had just happened,the people who's making follow ups regarding their documents,peope who do business there,and the people with scheduled hearings today will go empty handed.Well,that's how it is folks.....sigh.....

No need for me to think twice if i'll go there or not,for sure i'll stay home...wink ~ _^

"Twas 1:51pm,January 26th,1996,12years to be exact when this little angel came out of this world.His crying was like music to my ears,it soothed the pain that i experienced during the 9mos that i was carrying him.All the hardships were replaced by unexplainable joy when i first laid eyes on him...a great pride.....The essence of being a woman....to be a MOM!

I was there when he first crawled,i witnessed when he got his first tooth....when he uttered his first word.I carried him in my arms when he got tired of walking...It was me who was with him when he first entered school.It gives me pride whenever i hear him say MAMA!

Nowadays,i noticed a lot of changes from him.he's now into latest music,he already chooses his own clothes,he spend most of his time with his friends,he's already into Friendster(LOL),he sometimes decides for himself,he's active with his friends but getting lazy when it comes to his homeworks and other school tasks :-( and to top it all,i used to call him my baby but now he already has his own baby(GF)...sigh!i still bring him to school though but he's now the one who goes home. Well,whether i like it or not,my little boy will soon be a big boy....

I admit i missed him being a baby when i can kiss and hug him anytime.Time is running fast and sooner or later he'll be a grown up man and he'll have his own family(i hate to think about that :-) ) Each and everyday i pray to God to keep him always safe and may i continue to guide him and make him a better person as what he is now.
No matter how far he'll go,no matter how big his dreams will be,his MAMA will always be here for him,ready to listen,to lend a helping hand.

I may not be a perfect mother but you know that i always want the best for you and you're forever be my Baby!

I woke up this morning feeling good,and when i turned up the pages of the Bible to read the Scriptures,i was directed to these:

Mark 11:24-25

24 " Therefore I say to you,whatever things you ask when you pray,believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
25 " And whenever you stand praying,if you have anything against anyone,forgive him,that your father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.
26 " But if you do not forgive,neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

These words are the exact ones that i needed right now.I know no matter how many hurdles that come our way,we will survive it all,God will not put us into trial unless we can't bear it.God will always find a way.

We're passing this world just once,so whatever we do,let's not do it because we want to please others,instead,do it in the name of the Lord.

Take Me I'll Follow You

Every weekdays,i get up at 4am and start my day by cleaning the house(yes that's the first thing that i do the moment i got up :p),followed by taking a bath,cook breakfast for my son,send him to school,go to market and cook our lunch.only once a week that i do the laundry and iron the clothes.redundant?yes!and now with nothing to do,im feeling bored and lazy since my web marketing(home-based)work has been frozen for a while and will not start again until later of this month.im now just going back and forth from browsing the net and reading forums to browsing the channels of my television.I'm just killing my time coz later i'll go to Manila City Hall to make a follow up regarding my birth certificate's change of name.im still not done with it.it's another thing that makes me sad and bored from waiting so long...sigh!!!

And it's even sad to think that whenever one problem put to an end,another one arises.it's always been like that.i know i'm cool but sometimes it's really sucks to wait!and the more i'd like to be with my special someone,the more it's hard to get.It's been a while since we see each other and we're really dying to be with one another but then somehow i know there's always a reason for everything,timing is everything and in HIS time.

Well,just want to pour out my feelings,i know we'll be ok.it's just frustrating that we need to wait and wait and wait til we get reunited again.

Here's a song that really pours out my feelings.Im tired of this feeling all by myself, that's why i want him to take me wherever he go.....(i wish,but it's easier said than done with all those papers to finish...hay nako!...lol)

New Baby

I got a text message from my former pldt co worker last Jan.05,Saturday,she said that she already gave birth to a healthy baby boy.Am so happy for her coz i know how much she waited for him.She and her husband were trying to have a baby for a few years now and after 2 miscarriages,they finally got what they've been wishing for.Actually she was getting a little bit worried because she said she's getting old now(39) and we know that once a woman reached a certain age,it'll be a risk to have a baby but after me and Amy(another pldt friend) visited her this morning,i knew she's recovering fast and the baby's fine.She delivered him under Ceasarian Section.She's a picture of a happy Mom.

I remember when i gave birth to my son nearly 12yrs ago,when i first laid eyes on him,i cant believe that he came from me,that's why all i did the first night was just stared at him.I miss him being a baby coz now he already has his own baby(girlfriend...sob...lol)

And it's always fascinates me and makes me happy seeing the excitement from those newly and moms-to-be.i know what they feel.From the first time that you found out that you're pregnant,feeling him/her move inside you and the moment that you set eyes on him/her,the feeling is HEAVEN.and that's the time that you'll promise yourself,you'll do anything for the sake of your child/children.

Im back!i know i've been absent for a few days,just like you,been busy with the holidays!!!Thanks to my blogger friends who didnt forget to visit my site once in a while and to others who didnt find time,i know i was just like you,busy,and i completely understand that.

Once in a while,when i find time,i tried to visit 1 or 2 or 3 blogs at a time and stayed there for a while to see what's new with you and it always made me happy coz although we dont know each other personally,it seems like i already knew you by reading your blogs and finding out what's happening in your daily living.

And the fact that we've already exchanged links,it's like accepting me in your "home" and that makes me proud of myself coz having lots of friends is always my thing.

More often than not,things turned out the way we didnt expect it to be.No matter how hard we tried,if it's not yet the time,it wont happen.

And it's just disappointing since i've been expecting something that will come to an end but i guess i still have to extend a little more patience.ok,i know patience is virtue,no doubt about it,but sometimes,if you're waiting for such a long time,it gets too tiring and makes you think it SUCKS!!!

Oh well,i wish i could make a difference but i cant do anything but to wait and pray,i hope it will come to an end soooooooooon,time is running fast...and the clock is ticking....

I'm sorry and i know you're wondering what's this all about but I'll share it with u guys when it's finally over.for now,i just wanna say...thank u for taking time out reading this...i just need to vent.

I've been busy lately and that's because i've been trying to focus on some important matters,a really important one.The reason why i wasnt able to update my blogs too...

Anyways,the past few days that i've been out,i often passed by to Divisoria,Ylaya particularly.I used to avoid this place during holiday seasons,i'd rather take another route to go to my destination.But lately,i found myself walking along with those people who shops.Actually,I didnt have any intention of buying anything since I was always in a hurry going home.But passing thru Divisoria Mall and 168 who have lots to offer made it hard to resist.So i always ended up carrying something which i didnt plan on buying...lol

Well,I just found it amusing that despite of the fact that our country's suffering from bad economy,that celebrating Christmas is now considered a "luxury",still,we managed to handle it lightly.Filipino people will always find time to celebrate it no matter how hard it can be.We can still manage to give presents to those who are dear to us.We can still manage to put a smile on our face and greet each one of us a Merry Christmas.Well,that's the Filipino spirit.

Whether we will be having a present that is expensive or not,it's always the thoughts that count.Gifts or no gifts,there's nothing compare to celebrate Christmas with people who are close to our heart,afterall,that's Christmas to every Filipino Family.

Wounds

Lately,I've been to "little accidents" like i slipped my foot on our staircase while going down,tripped and down on my knees while I was on my way out of the post office and last night,while I was sweeping the floor,I accidentally hit the soda bottle with my foot,after a while i felt that there was blood dripping from my left toe,my son checked the bottle and found out that it was broken.Ouch!

I've been extra careful but then sometimes we dont know when accidents come.But I am always glad that it gave me little scars but most of the time i thought if I often get it,I will have lots all over my body....lol.

But then,these are just physical wounds,once it's been taken care of,it'll be healed in a matter of few days.We can always deal with it.It's different from the wound inflicted in our hearts,in our personality,in our emotion,it will always be there,only time will tell when it'll be healed,no one even knew if it will be healed at all.

There are times that we get mad but still we have to keep our cool.We have to control our emotion by not saying things that we will regret later.No matter how we are being pushed to the limits,we have to stay calm.Because once words have come out of our lips,we can never turn it back.We may regret and feel sorry but the recipient will never forget no matter how he/she tried.

And whether it's physical or emotional,we are only responsible for our own actions.And in every experience,there's always a lesson to learn it from.

Since I was little,I'm already fond of writing.Pens and papers always come in handy wherever I go.Nowadays,where we already have an advance technology,we can access the web everywhere we go.And I was amongst who've been glad to find out about blogging.

Blog is an online journal,it's like a diary where you write all the things that happened not only about yourself but to those that surrounds you or any topic that you'd like to discuss and have it read by everyone.

I've seen other blogs where they write about a certain topic,submit it and once approved, they'll be paid for it.Isnt it cool?And yesterday while i was browsing the net I chanced upon Bloggerwave.com,and after reading their FAQ, I decided to sign up and join.I told myself why not try it since i really love writing,and enjoying a hobby while being paid for it is a plus.

It's a great feeling to fall in love.It's like you're in heaven right?But love is not always like a bed of roses,sometimes it's painful,sometimes it's beautiful and oftentimes,it's both.You have to be prepared for all the consquences,have to be strong.There will be trials one after the other.But it's always a good feeling to fight and conquer it all with both of you around.As long as you know that your special someone's always there to hold you tight,ready to give out a hand whenever you fall,and always at your side no matter what,the "Battle" will be worth fighting for.

And there are times that we take all the challenges and risks of falling in love only to let them know how truly we love them.No matter how far the distance is......

Last month,we were shocked by the news of Glorietta explosion,it was followed by the Congress building bombing last Oct.13 and just a day after that,a shooting inside a courtroom Las Piñas hit the news.

Did i read it right?in a courtroom?It was said that a woman and her lady lawyer were waiting for her annulment hearing inside the courtroom when suddenly a man appeared from nowhere,shot and killed the two women.It turned out that the suspect was the ex husband of one of the victims(more...)

Come to think of it.If we are not safe in the mall,in the senate house,definitely not in the courtroom where you expect these places to be flooded with men in uniforms,where do we think we're safe?in our house?in the street?well.....

Ahhh,the world is getting smaller and smaller.As they say,it's a survival of the fittest.We wont know what's going to happen next,how and when.It's like watching a suspense/thriller movie where we would wait and see who'll be the next victim.

I wish life will be far more better than we have now and i also wish that Mother Earth will be a better place to live in.But i also wish our authorities and the people will unite and will be more vigilant,be more cautious and be more protective so as not to happen such incidents like these.

The rain hasnt stopped since last nite and according to PAGASA it's just a cold front and it will continue til tomorrow.This almost made me lazy but i still managed to wash the laundry coz i dont want to wait til the sun starts to shine again,it makes me tired to see a lot of clothes waiting to be washed in the hamper:-((sigh).

A Rebel Attack?

Another bombing hit the country last nite (Nov. 13) when the south wing of Congress Building shaken by a big blast that instantly killed Basilan representative Wahab Akbar, the driver of another lawmaker and a member of a staff of yet another solon. It was said that others were lucky because it happened at 8pm where there were just a few people who stayed behind,if it happened earlier,surely,there will be lots of fatalities again like that of Glorietta Bombing.

Was this a rebel attack?Not so sure,authorities are still investigating on it but one thing's sure,only those who were involved knew what's behind it.All that we could do is be aware and alert we dont know when and where it will happen again.Let's pray that this will come to an end.
